Roadtrip In Germany November 2004 (1) - Dusseldorf & Cologne

First stop in Duselldorf. Next to river Rhine, famouse as a trade route. Nice city to buy quality stainless steel kitchen utensils, scissors, knives - got ourself a kitchen "thong" and a cool nailclipper

Arrived in Cologne, in front of Cologne Cathedral, unfinished. Work still in progress and supposedly finished when the world end. Trace of World War 2 damage visible in some part of the building. The building is black due to the smoke pollution

A Christmas Market at the base of the cathedral. Plenty of trinkets sold.
